Terbinafine is an antifungal antibiotic used to treat infections caused by a fungus that affect the fingernails or toenails, ringworm including jock itch and athlete's foot and also used to treat the fungal infection of scalp hair follicles. It works by stopping the growth of fungi.

Take this medication by mouth with or without food, usually once a day or as directed by your doctor.
